Jimbu Thakali by Capital Grill is the brain child of
Vivek Sherchan. Vivek Sherchan grew up in the USA learning the finer nuances of
hospitality industry for a decade. His sheer passion and love for Thakali food drew
him back to his homeland inspiring him to open a restaurant in the year 2011 in
Nepal. With Vivek at its helm, Jimbu Thakali has blazed its own trail through
Nepal's culinary landscape, garnering a reputation for constant innovation and
numerous accolades along the way. Its commitment to sustainability saw Jimbu
Thakali ranked among the top 10 restaurants in Nepal. All this accolades and culinary fame earned by

respectively. On weekdays the Tangal outlet it is frequented by more than 400
happy customers, and on weekends it accommodates more than 650 food lovers.
Similarly Jhamsikhel sees more than 350 plus food fanatics on weekdays, and in
the weekends it reaches up to 650 or more.
